Do you need the $Retail version of Object Desktop to make skins?

Can you design your own skins using the freeware programs from the Object Desktop suite?

Can you be more specific? What do want to skin?

WindowBlinds isn't freeware, it's shareware (a distinct difference). You can skin it, but you'll find some features disabled in the shareware version.

CursorXP  https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorxp/guide.asp#_Toc101068

DesktopX, is also shareware, and I'm sure you'll find parts of it disabled also.

No reason you can't start skinning any of them................. then you'll get hooked, and have to do without a few pizzas so you can purchase OD.
