Do you need the $Retail version of Object Desktop to make skins?

I had dled cursorxp, but couldnt find where to design my own, so I was curious

WindowBlinds isn't freeware, it's shareware (a distinct difference). You can skin it, but you'll find some features disabled in the shareware version.

DesktopX, is also shareware, and I'm sure you'll find parts of it disabled also.
No reason you can't start skinning any of them................. then you'll get hooked, and have to do without a few pizzas so you can purchase OD.
