What's up with the weather? Doesn't it know its November and supposed to be 10°C?
Just look at this:-
Bits of me are starting to get icicles. Somebody get me out of here fast...

Don't eat the yellow snow.
When we were kids that was the first thing we were told. Out here in Pa its raining turtles and frogs. That and strong winds make for a very soggy day if you're outside. Temp is in the lower sixties, warm for this time of year. It'll stop for a bit fooling you into thinking that's it, all over with. Then you go outside and BAM! Rain comes down harder and the wind is right up your ... never mind. just drying off now.

Forecast has changed again. Looks like today will be the last day of snow. Then the cold sets in, -11°C for tonight for us.

Wow!! Looking at the BBC......you guys in the UK are getting a real 'snow walloping'..............I'm born and bred in the UK and I cannot recall ever seeing snow this early in the Winter..............but I now live in the US in the Colorado Rockies and we've had record levels of snow already this past few weeks. All the resorts around me in Vail, Aspen, Steamboat etc are having a great time.

Hah - Fuzzy, Rickjp, Boxxi - didn't realise you were my 'northern' neighbours. No snow here in Blackpool at all! I often think the weather just can't be arsed snowing here... just a few flakes then it gives up. A bit chilly though. Not looking forward to my gas bill next quarter.

I may be in the minority but nothing compares to the winter we had last in the northeast US. Close on 72 inches of snow with back to back blizzards. So far this year ... zilch. Very disappointing. I like snow.

72 inches? Luxury!! we lived in an avalanche and had to melt the snow with our tongues to get to school.......

Avalanche? How lucky can you get? We lived at the bottom of a glacier and had to invent volcanoes just to make coffee and toast!

30cm (12") overnight and it's not easing up.
No work again today and the forecast for tomorrow looks snowy too.
