Lack of custom color support in Windowblinds skins

Tuesday, July 17, 2001 by Spire | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Seems weird how very few of the new Windowblinds skins have custom colour support.

I'm certain that in the last few months of skinz.org's life, at least 50% of new skins supported custom color.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see this as a trend? sucks

I can't believe that most of the skins, do not make use of the Roll-up feature. I mean this is the major reason I use WB. I manually set them up, after download, if they are not already set, for Roll-up. It really makes it handy to be able to stagger, alot of windows, about the screen, and just Right-click them open.

I've always wondered about things like the rollup. Once you get used to using them, you can't do without them. Then you're left with two choices when you run into a cool skin without them - either add them in yourself or just forget about the skin. I'd like to see some statistics on how many people use the various options, such as the rollup, custom colors, winamp plugin, clock, drive shortcuts, etc. Unfortunately, this would be difficult to quantify...

3 real uses of WindowBlinds....
1...you can make them smaller than the default.
2...you can lock them 'on top'.
3...You can roll them up.
4...they can look pretty.

[must learn to count]....

i just set my right click on the title bar to roll up the window so i don't need an actual button.
