Stardock/WinCustomize Ratings
Just saying.....
Wednesday, November 10, 2010 by RedneckDude | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I may be called a suck up or a fanboy or even get razzed for this, but I just wanted to make a statement.
I use/have/subscribe to most of Stardock/WinCustomize products, as do most of us. I read these forums daily, hell, I mostly live here.
I read a lot of posts where people are mostly bashing WC/Stardock, griping that nothing works right, complaining about what crap the software is, or how the site doesn't meet their wants/needs.
Some even complain about the content, as if they're forced to download/use it...lol. You all know this all too well, as I said, we live here.
So, here is my statement:
I spend anywhere from 12 to 16 hours a day on my PC. Most of that time is spent in the forums, skinning something, or helping someone else do something having to do with WC/SD. I pretty much live in my cyber world, as frogboy recently said. I would like to say that even through all the bad things said about WC/SD, I can't imagine starting my PC without Stardock products.
As nice as Windows 7 is on it's own, I wouldn't like my PC much without Stardock.
So, let's all try to think about this when we want to rant and rave against SD/WC. Just a redneck thought......![]()

I'm being very well paid to tell the truth ![]()
Windowblinds is the best and safest way to skin your windows. Well, most of OD software are must have software. Most non-stardock software that are capable to skin your windows (Some Are Well Known), must sort of hack your system to apply the skins - very dangerous! It's like cracking and hacking.
RND
We wouldn't complain silently if you ever get promoted. You share some great works with the community. You are actually skinning
But I'll VETO any promotion coming your way since you didn't refer to me as 'SAINT'. You only said Elsius

You're a cool dude

What a great post Jim. I totally agree with you. I can't imagine life without Stardock nor Win Customize. I am constantly here int he forums and on the WC site and it is tiresome to see all the rants and complaints here in the forums. There are so many positive things to be said. The best of which is learning from others who are always willing to help. Bravo Jim

It means the way people RATE Stardock/WinCustomize. Not about the star rating system. That would pertain to WC only, not Stardock. ![]()
C'mon Wiz, work with me here, or I'll get Yrag...lol. ![]()
