Community Wallpaper 2011
Monday, November 8, 2010 by Island Dog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
A tradition of sorts that we have here at WinCustomize is a Community “graffiti” Wallpaper that WC members put their tags on. One of our last ones is posted below. This is a perfect time to start another one (thanks to Lantec for the reminder), and so we shall! This is a great way to get some community interaction going, and lets make this the best so far!
We will set the release date for sometime in mid-January. Tags should be submitted by December 31st.
Things we need:
- Your tags should be posted to this thread only. They need to be a .PNG image with a transparent background. Tags should be a minimum of 250px, larger ones can be resized. Your tags should be your username or graphic representing yourself with name (no anime or things like that). Everyone is free to participate, and encouraged to do so!
- A new wallpaper base image. We have traditionally used the brick wall image, but I’d like to go in a somewhat new direction and I’m looking for suggestions. Please feel free to post wall images here. Wallpaper should have a minimum of 1920 widescreen resolution. The chosen image will have the honor of uploading the image to the wallpaper gallery!

You can climb over Fences Doc. Just look at all those icons running rampant all over the screen. Move the Fence or resize it and the first thing they look to do is escape and they do too. I once made a Fence smaller and you had to see them, pulling a vanishing act. but make it bigger and they rush back in just so you don't holler at them for being AWOLYAC.

Jim, don't know if you are asking me or not. But if it's the things at the top of the wall you can call them anything you would like as I don't have a name for what they are. Down in Redneck country they may have things that look like that and you can tell me what they are.

LOL...I was asking you, Dave, and I dunno either. I just thought they looked out of place with the awesome rock wall. Just curious as to what they were for. Nice wall!

You know Jim with one click on the layer I can remove it and resubmit. Maybe I should do that if it looks out of place. I'm not to good at walls anyway like you and many are. Thanks for the "Nice Wall"

Jim (redneckdude) had a good point about what was the blue thing on my wall entry. Thought I would add an entry without it. Who would have believed a redneck with a good suggestion.

Rick, all the updates will be done on my Reply 114 and I will just list the date it's updated. Yes it's with the new one and it looks fine to me. do you see something?

Did you expect anything else from a redneck. Remember they don't have much contact in that part of the country. So taking the idea from you is totally understandable. Can't get mad at him as all he really know is corn mash and mountain beer made out of whatever they find around. Old shoes, boots, whatever they find they just throw in the pot with that good old spring water.

Hey, I do have that porcelain spring in the back room........

The only problem is now we don't know what's on the other side of the wall.

Complete with guard towers, machine guns and little ugly trolls to keep 'em in line. Sounds cool.
But ya gotta watch them little dudes.
