I see that Mr. Grim has reposted his stolen version of vStylers' Venom Toxic over at DeviantART yet again.

wow n he is making money out of it, only because he knows how to copy and paste and recoloring techniques.

I'm comparing the preview shots side-by-side, and they are not the same theme anymore. Grim's theme may have similar elements (the diagonal stripe pattern, the use of a dark, shiny base with a bold accent color), but Grim has totally re-designed his present upload. Grim's is shinier, the diagonal pattern is applied to different elements, the window frames are different. Grim's already admitted he was inspired by Venom, so there is a likeness, but compared side-by-side, they are different. They are alike in the same way that Levi's jeans are similar to Armani jeans (they are made of denim, they have similar pockets, and belt loops, and a brass button, etc.)
Continuing to claim the new design is a rip, would be like saying Aero Frost is a rip of Microsoft's aero.

Once a thief always a thief. Changing a few things doesn't make it ok.
BTW, this is not a "new" design. He's posted the same before.

Anyone want to comment, here I am, talking about being blocked, scharchuk spammed the crap out my Toxic theme and then blocked me so I could not reply, but as you cant block me here lets see what you have to say to me and lets see if you can keep it a bit civilized this time.

There's no question in my mind that "Venom" inspired "Toxic" in name and look.
There's no doubt in my mind that you did this for profit.
There's also no question that you've altered it enough (this time) for it to appear non-identical to a skinner. On that part I won't comment.
Instead let me just say that "non-identical" does not mean "original".
When you look at it do you find yourself asking, "Hey, that's a great skin!" or, "Where have I seen that before?" ?
I regretfully ask the latter.
I think you should have asked vStyler permission to do your variant of his theme. I think you should have at least tried come to a commercial arrangement with him before proceeding as you did. I believe you owe him an apology and other considerations.
I don't expect you to agree. I expect you will find a way to turn this thread into a provocation to the members here who strongly disapprove of what you've done.
I believe you should have used your graphic abilities to create a new theme conceived and executed by yourself.

*edit: It's graphics might not be 'identical' but the concept and overall 'feeling' was.
When you look at it, do you find yourself asking, "Where have I seen that before?" or "Hey! That's a great new skin!"?
