The strange burn out looking area when I right click to open something on my desktop, just started happening. Well one time last week, then now. 
Thank you for any answers, I have to Tink sit, so will be gone till tomorrow.

I never thought of trying to left click on the desktop, my mistake. My pc guy has had it for all this time, couldn't find a problem. Yes, lots of ventilation, and I keep it very clean. So when it happens again, I will try to left click.

But how does a graphics card distinguish between a left click and a right click?
Only the ones made in the hills can't.
