well, that's what I saw about windowblinds 2.2 :

"WindowBlinds 2.2 allows you to customize your desktop completely by changing the style of title bars, buttons, and toolbars. Now, load faster and there is mouse-over support for containers and taskbars. You can now make the taskbar flat. It has increased compatibility."

I' like to know what "containers" are ...
Thanks.

Where did you read it? I think one place that has WB to download got confused between it and DesktopX. Maybe that's what you are reading.

Well that's what I thought but the mouseover and flat taskbar are new windowblinds features, I saw this 2 times, the first one, I don't remember and the second is still on deviantart. If it's a new feature I really don't know what it is, found nothing about it. But maybe it's a mistake, a mix between WB and DX features.

If it's on deviantart I would imagine it's straight from Brad. In which case it must be a WB feature. But I am not sure what it refers to either.

i THINK it means the lines around groups of controls in dialog boxes, which can have a title on the top line.

load notepad, go into page setup (this is under windows 98), and there is such a thing around the "Size" and "Source" list boxes, called "Paper"

these things can be skined in window blinds 2.16b, and probably in later versions as well.

Those are actually called group boxes. They've been around since 2.0 (I think).

I think container skinning (If it does actually exist) might mean the ability to actually skin the groupbox interiors, in addition to the edges and header perhaps?
