Fonts manager?

Someone know a good program that let me install and uninstall a group of fonts easely?

I use Font Navigator, It comes free with CorelDRAW. You can get it from Bitstreem to I believe. If you use it with Corel You can set it up to install you font's as you need them, temporarily or Permanently.

FS is more of a quick font viewer, very handy to just browse fonts.

The Font Things looks intersting craeonics and Jafo, but I have a question. Can you set a group of fonts (or collection) to activate automatically on startup?

Don't think so. Don't know really. I think the normal method of use is to start The Font Thing, then load the collections you want to use.

I only wish I could load fonts on the fly without having to restart PhotoShop and such (or is that already possible?).

Paxx...I don't think so...it's just a management proggy to establish which fonts are, and aren't installed in the registry.....Dunno if there is a macro or script/batch that could do it...

OK, cause from what I've seen from their website it looks a lot like what ATM or Suitcase can do, except that it's free, which is great. But both ATM and Suitcase have a "Startup" group where you place the fonts you wish to load on startup.

Craeonics, no it's not possible because Photoshop, Flash and most other programs like it load the fonts on loading the application. If you activate a new font while Photoshop is opened, the only way it can know about it is to close and reopen Photoshop. It sucks, I know...

BoxFonts, of course, is a skinnable option. Before that I was using FontFinder. Unfortunately, both are shareware.
