Where can I get info on how to make my own skins?

Crae means Photoshop or Paint shop pro, or something like that. Start by choosing something simple to skin, like QuickNotes or Beatnik clock,
(that's where most people start). Look at all the parts that make up the skin,(usually lots of small images which are glued together by the program itself) and then try to make your own.
There is usually a file you have to write called an ".ini" file, Which tells the program where to put the seperate images, and fonts and such.
So, decide which program you would like to skin, go to the makers website, and you will probably find information on how to skin it. If you have a specific question about skinning a particular program, you can usually get help from the good folk on this message board.

You can use MS Paint (part of Windows) or save some cash for full fledged apps as PaintShopPro or PhotoShop.

Apps you'll need are the app you want to skin, a bitmap editor and (ususally) a text editor.
