Site problems?
Main page rolls up out of site!
Wednesday, October 6, 2010 by WebGizmos | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Just came by the site and with both Firefox and IE the main page rolls up to where all I can see is the very bottom of the page,..ie...Home/About/Privacy/...etc.

If anyone is still having a problem with the site's content being blank, please let us know. We recently added some more advertisements for non-subscribers (subscribers will not notice a difference), which was triggering AdBlock.
The reason subscribers may also have noticed the issue was we used the word "ad" in some of the new css classes...which AdBlock mistook as the entire area being an advertisement. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
Currently investigating the http error that is being reported when uploading. For those experiencing this problem, can you please try clearing your browser's cookies and relogging in?

Didn't work for me earlier in the day, but I tried again and voila... the front page loads correctly
However, I am having issues with being logged out and not being able to log back in again... persistent error messages: "Unable to find the requested page." or: The Server at Stardock Net took took long to respond.... "
The only way I'm able to log back in is to close FF and reopen it, then hit the bookmark on my toolbar. Thing is, I'll be logged in for a while and suddenly I'm mysteriously logged out again.

Maybe I spoke too soon about the Log On. This is ridiculous.

This is getting ridiculous! I'm trying to post here and all of a sudden...BOOM! I got kicked off the net! I wanted to say that I encountered something strange a few minutes ago. I was trying to submit an article it took me nearly an hour to write on stuff I found in the news today. After I clicked submit an error message came up saying problem loading page. Fire Fox has detected that the server is re-directing the request in a way that will never complete. What the hell does that mean??? Needless to say by the time i get around to posting the article it'll be old news!

Experiencing the dreaded http upload error again. Uploading to the site has lately become a game of patience. By the way, what and where is Adblock, and how do you disable it - I dont remember ever enabling such a thing.

What worked for me: log out of your profile, empty temp internet cache, delete all cookies from wincustomize. Log back in and try your upload again. Hope this is helpful.

Tried everything to no avail so I'm off to my bed - after all, tomorrow is another day.

Dev, Frankie, Gammeldansk... there are other sites to upload to, you know.

OldMsgt - Try disabling Adblock Plus for the WinCustomize site and then restart your browser and re-login to WC.
