Hi, have a question

Wednesday, June 27, 2001 by Shekky Boy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Before I start, I'm very new to customizing my windows so if I say anything stupid, please point it out to me.
I downloaded the WinXP Set 6 icons to replace my old ones on Win ME. The file's got an IP extension so I'm wondering how to open this.
Thanks for any replies.

Hi, The WinXpset was created for Icon Packager, and you will need to use that to apply the IP theme to Windows to replace the icons.

go to https://www.stardock.com and download Icon Packager

The WinXPset also includes MORE Icons too, bu they are in a ICL file that is within the IP theme. If you need help with these also please E mail me as you should have done in the first place !!

You can also rename the file to .zip and simply extract the contents. It would be a lot of fun manually changing them though, I'd probably go with IconPackager.

Ahhhhh, thanks a lot. I'm just downloading IconPackager right now and then I'll download the seventh set. If I run into any more problems, I'll know where to turn
