ObjectBar: How do I open an Browser in a new window?

Monday, July 7, 2003 by CerebroJD | Discussion: Stardock Software

I'm using IE for my browser and I have made a sort of favourites list for my current Bar. What I want to do though, is have each page open in a new window when I click on the button on the bar. How do I do this?

hmmm... You would probably have to find that setting in IE if it's there at all, I don't think there is a way to make objectBar do that (could be wrong)

Registry Settings
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
BrowseNewProcess]
Value Name: BrowseNewProcess
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: Yes or No

Make sure the Value is set to 'yes'....should bring up a new window for you
