I had never heard of these, and after checking them out, I see that you can DL a free trial for 30 days. I will definitely be trying them! Thanks for the tip.

Interesting software for sure, but not good business trying to recoup your Credit Card and PayPal fees from your purchasers, not good at all.

I had icon workshop on my old computer, good little program. I sort of remember some issues but support was very supportive and I was back up running in no time.
I'll have to check into that maybe...

Hm, they had the same action in July and claimed it ends on July 31st. ...so there is no rush.
It seems like the people are finally realizing that Axialis tools are pretty outdated. IcoFX, Greenfish Icon Editor, PixelFormer or RealWorld Cursor Editor (my tool) are freeware AND superior in many was to IconWorkshop/CursorWorkshop.
If you want paid quality - layers with styles, proper resampling, 3D icons, Axialis is no longer the right source...

I was just saying that if you use a credit card by phone or FAX, or PayPal, or a check for payment they charge you an extra fee, probably to cover their costs of using those services. Not a good way to do things IMO, they should absorb those fees.
