Go to WB configuration, user overides, uncheck show user icon in start panel, apply changes.
Or if you are working in SKS left tree, start panel/user panel, right tree hide user picture/ enable.

Hope that helps you.

Thanks for your help Bones. I'm using Skin Studio but don't see a "hide user picture" option for User Pane. Is that a registered version functionality?

It should be the third line from the top. So it must be a registered version attribute. You might try looking at the code, and at the botom of the [StartPanel.UserPane] section add: HideUserPicture=1
That should work if you don't see it in SKS.

Thanks again Bones. I originally had my skin in the Universal Skin Format. Apparently that option is not available for USFs. I converted it to WB 2 and the option appeared.
