Editing .wsz format

Thursday, April 22, 2004 by JD89187 | Discussion: Skinning

How do you edit a WinAmp skin once it is in .wsz format? Like, how do you change the hue, or edit a certain graphic? Please help.

Rename the file to .zip and extract the content. In it lies a bunch og bitmaps which cannot be renamed, their filenames must be intact for the skin to work. Once you have edited it, zip it and rename it to .wsz again.

This may sound stupid...but how do you rename it to .zip? I tried clicking rename, but that just changes the name and not the format.

Control Panel/Folder Options/View - un-check ''Hide Known Extensions''
