I need help with .TGAs

Wednesday, February 4, 2004 by Killer_Thigh | Discussion: Skinning

How do I make a .tga so there are transparent parts? I've looked at other tga files and I try it myself but the part that should be transparent stays visible. What is the advantage to tgas over bmps?

Okay I understand about importing png's and skinstudio will create the tga file for me....here's my problem....the file i want to import has only black and white as colors so it shows up blank as a tga. Is there any work around to get this file to work right?

PS..What I know about tga's will fit on the head of a pin
