Skin works in Skinstudio but parts are broken when applied?!?

specifically my tool buttons and my tab items...they appear as blank when I apply the skin in XP...black shapes where the button should be...also I noticed that the scrollbar Buttons 3 vertical dots for the horizontal scrollbar don't apply when I load the skin in XP...whats happening with my skin? I don't get it....

sometimes you can edit the code directly and remove the image that dosnt work, save ,then reapply the image you want.Or try renaming the image and reimporting it.
