Logoff button mouseovers not working

Mouseovers were working until i added a logoff buttons background.Now I just get the normal image but no change to the mouseover state.Any suggestions?

Howdy pic,no I mean the button image itself.Before the addition of the button background image the button itself would change with mouseover.(get brighter or something)Now it just retains the normal state.Ran into the font problem on my first skin.Wasted a lot of time on that one! later

I.R. Brainiac...That is an unfortunate limitation right now...If you add a logoff background image you will loose the mouse over for the buttons...kinda sucks huh

Bummer...kinda messed up my trick I was trying there.Oh well back to the drawing board.

Bringing up this old thread for a little advice on the same topic. I added a background image and didn't like it because it messed up my mouseovers. How do I get them back?

I did that and they didn't. I got a workaround, although it was slightly difficult. it involved setting the buttons transparent and putting the color I wanted the button to change to in the background and got it positioned correctly.
I meant to say I deleted it in my last post, but I guess I didn't.
