If one person (adni18 or essorant, for example) has two skins in the top 10, do they still only get 5% or do they get 5% for each skin in the top 10?

How can this be - Tiggz was No. 1 a short while ago and hasn't been out of the Top Downloads since?

If you haven't tried GT3 yet go and download it - Tiggz deserves to win purely based on his recent contributions to the community.

GT3 is leaps and bounds a better quality skin.
WindowsMAX is good, but it is not even in the same league as GT3.
There is something seriously wrong if this award does not go to Tiggz.

But remember that WinMax2 is Steve's First and Only Skin. He has done it greatly. Just think how much talen he is..................

I don't know that there's any sense discussing "x isn't in the same league as y" here as it's based on unique member downloads. Not that it was a flaming post, mind....myself, I always find myself liking brewman or essorant's skins, but they're all killer there in that list. Good to see some of the authors reaping some benefits...

The more skins you have in the top 10 the higher the % you get. So someon ecould get all 5% if they had all of the top 10.

Huh, since I was priveledged enough to get GT3 before release, I haven't downloaded it yet. Hmmmm, how much is worth to you Tiggs? LMAO

It would be a shame if GT3 doesn't take #1. Windows max is a top notch skin but it is (was) a work in progress while GT3 was a complete suite. No flaming just a matter of fact. It still deserves top ten.

GT3 is an interesting skin, indeed. Some skins have so many little subtleties, so many nuances, that it sometimes takes me by surprise when i notice something new about a skin i've been using for >1 day....gt3 is definitely one of those.

From my understanding, unique downloads means no matter how often someone re-downloads a skin for an update, it won't affect this competition. I say congratulations to all the people in the top 10

Just out of interest, it is considered fair play to keep updating your skin date to get it to the top of the WB skins? Whilst I appreciate that these are tweaks I don't think it reasonable to keep updating the date for this reason, especially when GT3 has remained where it is well down the list on the grounds that it is complete and stable!

JourneyMan _Martin_ ...Uh, now that's something to think about...I think that while the skin in question is very nice, the point that the author has done the update thing a few times, really isn't so "fair"...The number of downloads is kind of a hard thing to use as the basis of the winner of this contest simply because of that...Perhaps, for the next contest you'll consider just a plain old fashioned vote? Especially since lots of people download every skin released...or at least every one they are interested in, therefore they cancel out their own "votes"...And in all reality if they didn't download them all or most of them then it would be unfair to comment, rate, or vote for any of them because looking at a preview doesn't really give you the full effect of how good or bad a skin is....and I've seen from several comments that people do tend to try the skin before passing judgment, in most cases...at lest among the subscribers/skinners

I've downloaded almost all of the skins listed above, so if I were a subscriber, then it wouldn't matter which I thought was the best, because even though I downloaded the one I thought should win, I also downloaded the ones I wouldn’t' pick to win, see? Of course I'm not a subscriber, so my downloads don’t count, but I'm sure the subscribers also downloaded several of them too…

So that makes me wonder how many subscribers decided not to download and try a skin because in doing so it would have canceled out their vote? Think about it...when GT3 came out early in this contest, right? So, it would be safe to assume, looking at the numbers, that a whole lot of people decided not to even try some of the others. Which really hurts those skin's chances of winning...

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, it happens often, but that's just my take on the situation...and..also, I know this one is old, so where is the winner's list? Please?
