Thanks for the article.
I know run>msconfig is a favorite of IS (IT) people running company networks.
Windows 98 and XP have the msconfig included.
People running Windows 2000 may have to find the utility download.
I don't think Windows 2000 includes it natively, but I know we have it installed as a seperate piece of software by the IS crew where I work.
Definitely a helpful utility.

The msconfig from XP can be run on 2000.

You may want to read up a bit on the subject if you are unsure of stopping some programs from running at startup before diving in.
Should prevent alot of unnecessary clicking in the task manager and improved system performance.
