How to show desktop items in the " show desktop icon"itself

Hi ,
i have just installed objectdoc, and was looking for how to videos on you tube. I have notice in one video that when clicking on "show desktop" you get a dropdown menu , where you can actually see the items which are normally on you desktop.
Please have look at the link for the you tube video, at about 1.19 min you can see how the guy clicks on show desktop with an arrow appearing, once he clicks on that , it shows him his desktop items. When i click on it it just just show me the blank desktop.

Flyout menus don't currently exist in ObjectDock 2 beta, but they may come back in a later release. I have them on the wishlist.

That is a flyout menu. It is available on the paid 1.9 version but is currently not included in the 2.0 beta but I'm sure it will be sometime in the future. You can also use a stacks docklet on the paid or free version.
