Arstechnica has an interesting guide into the new bus architecture starting to show upon new machines called PCI Express. If you're a hardware geek, it's worth checking out.

They had the guy who created this on I think it was "The ScreenSavers" on TechTV for those that watch. It could of been on "Call for Help", but I can't remember. By what they were talking about, this new technology is going to kick some major @$$. Now I just have to get the $$$$ to afford it, even though the guy said it should be cheaper then AGP.
