New WindowBlinds Utilities make skinning easier

Tuesday, May 18, 2004 by Stardock Central | Discussion: WinCustomize News

Two new utilities have been released for WindowBlinds that can help users and skinners get even more out of the popular windows GUI skinning program.

The first one, WBExec, was developed by one of the top plug-in authors in the software industry - MadIce. It enables skinners to add new title bar buttons that can open up menus and launch all kinds of different programs including the Start menu, Most recent files, Drive menu, and much more. For skinners looking to make visual styles that are more productivie, WBExec is free and something to check out.

The second one, WB Skin Randomizer, was developed by Philip Powell, best known for his popular DesktopX objects and scripts. WB Skin Randomizer allows users to randomly apply skins, including at start-up so that each time the user boots they can be greeted by a new skin.

Follow the link below to try them for yourselves. Big thanks to MadIce and PJ Powell who have created these awesome utilities and shared them with the skinning community.

Why are these programs not included also in Stardock Central.

WBExec is a plugin, Stephan, and the Randomiser is not made by Stardock. That's why they're not on Stardock Central.

What do these utilities do? I sure would like to try them out.
Sure would be nice to be able to download, though.

Doesn't Stardock Central ever look at these comments? It has been 2 days. Dont get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Just making an observation.

I agree OOPS, maybe someone should mention it directly to Stardock. Maybe they already know, but we have not heard. I HATE BAD COMMUNICATION! Sorry, I got carried away there!
