LogonStudio to LogonStudio XP ??
Thursday, June 10, 2010 by neophil78 | Discussion: Customization Software
The question is fairly simple: is there any way to convert LogonStudio package to LogonStudio XP ?? ![]()
Or any way to open LogonStudio Skin to hold off images and build up with theme a LongonXP ? (without having Vista or 7 nowhere installed of course)
P.S: question could be the same for Bootskin to Bootskin XP ![]()

For some unknown reason thru Impulse yes, download the stand alone installer from CNet linked in my first reply and it will install on XP.

Right, it installed ![]()
But, i've just (mostly) only .ini files in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\logonstudio vista\Logons ![]()
Are there not others files equivalent to bitmap_100.bmp, bitmap_102.bmp, .... bitmap_XXX.bmp ??
(That's those kind of files i'd wanted to retrieve ... specially 102 to 108, 112,113,119,121,122)

No there are not, only thing that is changeable is the wall image, the rest will be on Vista/7 default MS logon.

Yep that will extract the wall image from the XP logon but I know the OP and I believe matthew want to make a vista style logon on xp from a vista logon and XP style on vista from a XP logon which cannot be done.

A logon for Vista/7 oh and now XP, is just a wall image, that is it. Most logons here have a matching wall uploaded also, download wall make XP logon. If no matching wall, download Logonstudio install, skin folder on XP is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\logonstudio vista\Logons.
As for bootskin, no, XP is a 16 color image, Vista is a full color image.
