Hi i just registered and im trying to download this skin (https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/screenshots/26233/) and when i click the download button it just takes me to a screenshot of the skin. Can someone tell me what i have to do to be able to download it? Thanks.

That particular 'skin' is only a screenshot/image. It cannot be downloaded from that location, but if you follow the links in the description you can download the individual skins.

Yeah i'm having that same problem, I was trying to download the alienware skin but it just brings me to a screen shot. Please elaborate on "follow the links."

Please elaborate on "follow the links."

Click on one of the links.

Note: If there are no links on a particular 'Screenshot' then you would need to leave a comment on the poster's screenshot to find out where they found the items they used.  'Screenshots' are pictures on the users desktop and as such when you click the Download button you will only get the picture of the users desktop.

angelaanthony, when we talk about 'skins', we are referring to wba files which are applied to the GUI by the program "Windowblinds (or DX, Object Dock).

The kind of 'skin' you're referring to is applied to the outside of the notebook... to prevent scratches and to give the outside case a more customized appearance.

Hope this made it clearer.

I have noticed a few times that new people on the forums will post replies that have nothing to do with stadock or their products.

Then after a small amount of time links to web sites appear.

Then after a small amount of time links to web sites appear.

Then, after an even smaller amount of time, the spammer disappears.

I can't take any credit for poofing spammers. Our fine WC administrators(or moderators, or both) do an excellent job of keeping spammer junk out of the forums.
