New Look at D.A.
Wednesday, May 19, 2010 by narbytrout | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
During my routine of favorite sites to surf... Today I discovered that Deviant Art has a new look and several new features.
I'm kinda diggin' it. It's gotta smooth flow and has some nice feature sets to go with it. I really like the expand/collapse of images while staying on the same page.
Any art lover obviously knows of this site, but if you are new to the techie world of art, click the link above any go for a "sunday drive".
Leave some feedback on whatcha think of the new look.

I haven't used it that much yet but from a quick browse and navigation throught the galleries I find it pretty nice. It's fast for one thing and that is an unusual thing for DA. I'd say it's a much smoother rollout than some places I've seen.

Wow, DA is getting absolutely hammered
So much for all their 'experts' quoted above... it's becoming a mutinous freaking revolt over there.

Don't care one way or the other... not there often enough/long enough for it to matter.

I think I'll give it a little time...let them work out any kinks...then take another look. But seriously, I don't think I will spend much time there anymore.

Yes there are many complaints but, when your dealing with such a large site people with a gripe tend to gripe... and people who like it tend to be satisfied with just letting things be. IMO.

Good lord, its bloody awful, whats with the need for everyone to 'simplify' things only to end up making it more difficult to use.
Apparently, and judging by the massive outrage in the release thread I am not the only one to think this.
Big websites are starting to remind me of big Govt.... think they know what is good for us and won't listen to the 'people'
