I have tried almost every browser out there and they are all basically the same, just a browser. No one browser is faster than another, and none are perfect, not even Firefox or IE. All this hype over nothing, sheesh.

I noticed that as well. When I first tried chrome it was noticeably faster...then I hit a few hiccups...but it does seem a bit faster none the less.

Next is PsychiChrome.....it just knows where you want to go next and takes you there.

Same here!!!   I'm totally paranoid that they're watching me 24/7 because I say unkind (but truthful) things about them.... hence, I do not use Chrome or any other Google apps, because they ALL phone home and tell their creators what you're up to.  Now it's not like I have anything to hide, but I think it should be my business, and my business alone if I spend an unhealthy amount of time on the Playboy site looking at centerfolds.

And do you think for one moment that the Google Maps car is out there innocently collecting map data???  Wrong!!!  It's out there collecting oodles of compromising photos of people in various states of undress... and worse.  Yup, Google has its own pron collection!!!!!   In my case, however, it's worse than that again. 

Yup, the Google Maps car is often camped outside my place... listening to and recording everything I say and do.  And so's Google knows everything I say, the Google Maps car in my area has a device to record my keystrokes as well, and with it's wi-fi snooping abilities, they also know who I'm talking to.  So watch out you guys... Google might get paranoid that I'm corrupting you, and start staking out your place as well. 

Shit, there it is again... the G-Car.  And it's so clandestine, too!!  What with its menacing black duco and tinted windows, it's look is straight out of a vehicular horror movie, and I'll bet the G-Man inside is there with his digi-cam and binoculars, in the hope he'll catch me flashing another 'brown-eye' at them. 

Anyhow, I digress!  Not only does Google Chrome phone home, they've incorporated a software digi-cam into the toolbar.  It is designed to take advantage of touchscreen monitors in particular, to transmit images back to Google HQ, so if you compute in the nude... and have a touchscreen, I'd be covering up, if I were you.  Oh yeah, it still works on standard monitors, and nude photos would still be sent back to HQ, it's just that with the touchscreen, Google can manipulate things if you happen to cover Chrome with another window.

Odd no one's mentioned Pale Moon (ff3 fspecially built for windows or mac) which is pretty durned fast, too. I did enjoy the vid, but anyone destroying a Pyrate Ship better watch out in these waters!

I don't think Pale Moon is that well known or publicized Doc, and I think its installation method of just copying over files might make some people leery. I tried it after you referred me to it also, but to tell you the truth I did not notice any speed difference with it either.
