DesktopX User Manual On-line

Sunday, November 16, 2003 by Stardock Central | Discussion: WinCustomize News

The full DesktopX User Manual is now available as a PDF manual (Adobe Acrobat). The manual is over 50 pages long and gives users a thorough explanation of how DesktopX works, how to create things with it, and how you can put it to use.

DesktopX is part of Object Desktop. Stardock is in the process of creating PDF manuals of all the major components of Object Desktop in preparation for the Object Destop 2004 CD snapshot (which will be available to all Object Desktop users).

Nice to look at online if you've got broadband because a 1MB+ file doesn't take long to display.

But just you try it with a 56K modem a few times so being able to download it just once would be nice.

Well I've tried using Save target to download the PDF file and it chokes every time at 1004KB.

So I'm open to suggestions.
