If your an avid Sports fan, you need to be a boston fan, with the Bruins getting ready to sweep the Flyers, the Celtics playing the Cavs, and the Red Sox playing the Yankees, this is a sports Christmas

yeah, that taser thing was something, this is why i shake my head on a daily basis and say "what was he/she/they thinking"

Yeah, I saw that taser thing here downunder....like whoa!!!! 
It's not something I expect to here here in Oz, though male streakers at the cricket should probably get zapped.
Female streakers should probably get stern warnings... a "three strikes and you're out" kind of thing. 
I've yet to see a streaker (or anyone else) invade the pitch during a rugby league footy match, however. That's probably because our blokes are real footballers, built like brick shithouses, tough as old boots (they don't wear (or need) all that padding crap and caged helmets) and wannabe streakers are too damned scared to run out there.
Having said that, I hope enjoy your footy season as much as I enjoy ours. Ours is in full-swing at the moment, though my team (Brisbane Broncos) isn't doing too well at the moment... several key players are out with injury, and a few retired (or went to other clubs) at the end of last season, so they're a bit down on experience at the moment, though not enthusiasm. They mightn't win the comp this year, but they will improve and be more competitive next year.

Except that that is rugby union... different game again, but still, some tough nuts play it.
That formation, BTW, is a ruck and maul... as 'union' folks call it. In rugby league it's a scrum.

Hmm, well it isn't all that geat for someone that is not a Boston fan.
I'll stick with the teams from the city that likes to give Santa Clause a hard time, is full of brotherly love, and is not afraid to use a tazer.
