Not every Dock have a dockzip file. Many Docks have Zip files you have to exctract. Put those Files in the "Backgrounds" Folder in the "Stardock" directory.

ok, extract the zip file and put those extracted files in the Backgrounds folder of the ObjectDock / ObjectDock 2 Folder.

Ok, this one you want to download is not an Icon it's a graphic for an ObjectDock. So, you have to open your ObjectDock Program (what Version you have 1.9 or 2.0?).

And then you can choose this Graphic to change the look of the Dock.

No, Version 1.9 is not bad, ...yes you have to put all the files in the backgrounds folder.

Well, these are Icons and you can change the Icons on your Docks. So, when you have any Folder (a Windows 7 Folder or any other OS Folder) in your Dock you can replace the Original one to one of those Icons in that Package.

Freddy...I'll make this real easy for you.

"All dock backgrounds"...meaning "Tiles" & "Side Docks" (which are also called "zoomers" by some people) should be placed in your c:/Programs/Stardock/ObjectDock/backgrounds folder. And that means when you unzip a file and the folders appear...you place the entire folder in the above mentioned location...not just what's in the folder Since you only have the free version you cannot used tabbed docks.

As far as icons/pngs you might want to use for your docks. Lets say you have Winamp or Xion or MediaPlayer to play your music and you want to use certain icons/pngs to represent those programs. Create a folder called something like MusicIcons or Media...whatever you want to call it. Place any images you find that you may want to use now or in the future for those programs in that folder and then move it to c:/Programs/Stardock/ObjectDock. Do the same thing for any themes or program types in which you may want to change icons for.

For some reason you might not get an image when you scroll through themes in OD...but as long as you see a name for it you should be able to apply it.
