Looks like an I.D. Stardock vid to me

Unfortunately it is NOT starkers-proof poof.

Like most highly lethal Aussie life forms, the *good* Capn's ...*products* would make short work indeed of this blanket.

Asbestos is not starkers proof...

Somebody had to come up with a way to take the fun out of bedtime, didn't they!!!!

Now I want this post taken down before mrs starkers sees it, ya hear.  We have higher priorities and I don't want to have to pay out for what essentially would be a 'wet blanket'.

To be honest, I don't see how that blanket would... could be effective, anyhow.  From my experience, the rich aroma of curried cabbage wafts up from under the sheets/blankets, rather than through them....

So unless that gap at the top were closed.....

Hehehe!!!!  In fact, this blanket could be fun.... like an incubator of sorts.  One would only have to hold down the blanket at the top and allow the 'silent but deadly' to ferment a while.  With the blanket and body heat combined.... well yeah.  You'd have the ultimate in 'dutch ovens'

Unfortunately it is NOT starkers-proof poof.

Of course not!!!   My barks are powerful enough to blow that thing clean off the bed.   I've awoken feeling cold on more than one occasion, only to find the bed linen and blankets rotating on the ceiling fan.

I wonder if it needs to be replaced when it gets full? In starkers case that could get expensive!

Fabric with a carbon filter? To hold up to starkers it would need to be Kevlar and  carbon fiber!  It is also lacking in proper filtration,it needs to  be equipped with some sort of catalytic converter. Some gasses just aren't meant to be released into the atmosphere.

Expensive? ... all that trapped natural gas I would call it a resource.

When full sell them to China, just imagine the carbon credits you could gain. Stop global warming NOW!!

having a smoke in bed could be a bit of a worry

Aye, banished to Orstraylia I might be, but that don't make ye safe o'er thar in tha US of A.

Tha 'Sister' might've bin ter dry dock fer a while, but once me sea legs 'ave growed back I'm on me way....

And yer president's men mightn't let us inside yer territorial wat'rs,  but no matt'r.... a sail-by 12 miles out frum yer coastline should still oughter do it.

Arrrrggghhhh!!!!

I wonder if it needs to be replaced when it gets full? In starkers case that could get expensive!

And that's not just the enormous cost of frequent replacement.   It'd be the huge fees I'd be charged for a Hazmat-like team to come take 'em away.

Even Kevlar wouldn't do it!  NASA used some of my gas for experiments during the 'shuttle' programme.  When ignited it melted the tiles they used to prevent the shuttle burning up during re-entry.
