Install Themes??

Monday, April 5, 2010 by Newyears1978 | Discussion: ObjectDock

I am so confused, I am new to Object desktop and I am trying to install themes.

Before I would open a dockzip or whatever but I can't figure out what to do now, besides manually puttings files in folders.

I can't find anything anywhere on this   Thanks in advance.

Okay I finally figured out to right click>open with objectdock..

Now though I am getting an error telling me I need a newer version of ObjectDesktop ...yet I have v2.0, the newest that I just bought...

So confused.

You are talking about 2 different things here. ObjectDesktop is a collection of several Stardock customization programs.  Now, ObjectDock is a single program that is not part of ObjectDesktop.

Here is an overview of how ObjectDock version 1.9 works.

Unless you pre-purchased the beta version of the new ObjectDock 2.0, then you most likely have the 'free' version of ObjectDock 1.9.

No I mistakenly typed Object Desktop.

I have the new beta 2.0 ObjectDock which I purchased...I found out how to install..the problem is things were handled differently in 1.9 and now in 2.0 so it was a bit confusing..but I figured it out.  Most older docks don't work right with the new version unless you tweak the config files.

Now I just can't find out where the Indicator Light setting is..in 1.9 there was an option, here I cannot find an option for it.
