WindowBlinds 4 Alpha 1 released

WindowBlinds 4 Alpha 1 has been released. Version 4 is a major rewrite of WindowBlinds that is designed to be much more low level than previous versions of WindowBlinds, use less memory, and skin a lot more.The main features of WindowBlinds 4 include:
+ Skinning of the command prompt
+ Skinning of pretty much every part of the Windows OS including the explorer task panes (shell styles), and many small areas that users may not have noticed before not being skinned but will almost certainly notice being skinned now.
+ Skinning of lots of dialogs and notices that Windows XP itself doesn't change normally such as the logoff screen, the transition dialog, and more.
+ Smart painting, a new technology that makes WindowBlinds much faster and in some cases almost as fast as running "classic".
The alpha only is available for Windows XP users. Subsequent builds will be released for other versions of Windows. It is currently only available on Object Desktop. Very fast indeed.
Only glitch so far for me is the inability to get transparent explorer backgrounds.

How do I get this? I have Obj Desktop, but it is not listed in the component manager.

make sure you have CM to list all available components. also, it's list ted as WB 3.9, not 4.0.

I must be blind, but where is the download for new this new version? Stardock hasn't sent me anything and there's nothing on their website for the new version, just version 3.5

A version for registered users will be available when it's been tested out a bit (there are a few bugs known already) and a trial/version for non-paying users at some time after that.

Has anyone has any issues Using Mike B's BFG Nvidia skins on wb4? They were working fine on wb3.5 but after I installed wb over The skins got bugs on the task and quick launch bars, essentially they're missing and just showing a hollow black outline. I was curious if it was computer/windows or if it was wb4 or the skins. If anyone can help or has info I'd appreciate it, thanks!

WB4 totally screws up form elements in Mozilla and Gecko. other than that, i cant get it to display a skinned command prompt for the life of me.

Jark, look in the 'Advanced' dialog box (on the Appreance tab on the display properties. I'm having issues with Mozilla as well but only on the VOX theme (address bar is black...so is the txt 
)

Just downloaded WB 3.90 and it works just great on my computer!! Much faster than 3.5. This is great...

I love the speed, totally noticable. Just having problems getting shellstyles to show up.
