The 1 year limit is for free updates to Windowblinds. The software will continue to work after the year however.
You can renew your subscription however and continue with free updates..

I don't know about other program needs but if you are thinking about skinning windowblinds with skin studio, you have to have windowblinds in order to do so. good deal, go for it.

10.00 bucks! Sure why not, I've been without WB for six months..new machine with Windows Seven and you could say I was having withdrawals. Love the speed of the new ui, but I'm having a little trouble with the re-coloring.. Do all skins recolor? I dl Cinnabar and can't change the color..doh!
