DesktopX 2: Alpha 1

If you have Object Desktop (www.objectdesktop.com) you can download and try out the first alpha build of DesktopX 2.DesktopX is a program that lets you design your own Windows desktop. One of the highlights of DesktopX 2 is its ability to automatically inherit your existing desktop (the icons on it) and add all kinds of visual effects to them (shadows under icons, desktop icons that are any size, icons that smoothly animate to a bigger size when you put your mouse over them, sound effects, etc.).
DesktopX 2 also has a much cleaner user interface to make it easier for people to design their own desktops.

Also, what's up with displaying some of the system icons that I chose to hide? (My comp, network connects, internet, trash, and my docs).

On my computer with win 98 
iconx only uses the system icons. If i use icon packager to change the icons, it simply shows a app icon in its place.

Floyd: 1.92 *is* DX2, we're just not giving it a 2.x version number until it's ready.

It's still an alpha. That means it's not even a beta. SO yes, there are a LOOOTTTT of bugs in it.

we know. Be nice if there was a running total of bugs somewhere though, so we knew what was a problem, and what was design. Alpha's are generally released to the public so they can help test, is this not the case? If it is, wheres all the discussion happening?

Also, I am running two monitors, and now, when using IconX, it doesn't like the fact that I have desktopX objects on the other monitor, and doesn't apply the iconX enhancements to the icons I have on it either...
It's a great step forward though! I can't wait for these bugs to be ironed out!
