windows7 and my hard drive

i have only 18 gigs of space left after installing windows7 and all my software - to switch to a bigger hard drive will i have to go thru the process all over again?

You can add another drive and install your software there, no need to install Windows again. You can also keep all your documants there too.

thanx fuzzy - i didnt know i cld do that, thought software had to be on my c drive

An external HD would be the easiest way to go.  Just plug it into an ac outlet and a USB slot and away ya go.

External hard drives are dropping drastically in price so get the largest one you can afford.

lol i got 6 500gig external hard drives already - i installed windows7 on the only free hard drive in my pc-have 4 in total-but its filling up quickly even tho i keep vids music etc externally
