To the skin makers

Ideas

There is one or two other items I would like to see in a Vista/W7 skin. Up where the minimize restore and close buttons button. If possible could you add a transparency tab, I do not if this could be done for W7, I know that the following skin Captain America https://forums.wincustomize.com/376759 has this feature. Please take a look to see what I am trying to explain.

Also would it be possible to put colorful frame around the menu items on the menu bar of IE 8 also the depressed and mouse over of these items. These I know can be skinned in IE 8 as one or teo of the great skinners here have done it.

Also a Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Army and Coast Guard skin would really show the folks that have served and are serving that the skinners of the world care.

Sincerely;

David J Clark/ Master Sgt. USAF Retired

I'm wondering if the transparency button is the same as the rollup button found on some skins. It's a handy feature, but if you don't have it, you can go into Settings in WindowBlinds, and select Rollup/Down Window in "Action to take when double clicking (or right clicking) on the title bar". All the window disappears except for the title bar.

I think your request for an armed services skin is very nice and hopefully someone may do one and I can understand why a service person would like to have one. Going back through the forums there have been service related things that have come up. I can't ever remember anything but nice things said with what ever situation it was and thanking people for serving and helping those who can't. I don't think however a skin has to be made so the skinners can show the world we care, because we care and thank all the branches and people who serve, with or without a skin for a computer. That's like saying if you don't fly a flag at your house form sun rise to sun set you don't love the United States and that just isn't true.

I completely agree with you David.  Maybe they could do a Community Project for an armed services skin.
