I have always wondered about the t-shirt program. I really think if it looks nice then it will sell.
But I have seen some of the stuff they have in the store and I only liked one shirt. (There is no way I am going to walk around the streets of NYC with the word "Skinners" on it, so count those shirts out)
I was going to submit some t-shirt designs and hope that they are good enough to use. I like what I have been workin with so far. Anyway, hope by next year there could be something in the store other than computer programs to buy and wear.

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but the products aren't really, um, well targeted? I dunno, but Tote Bags? This seems like the kind of stuff they give away at radio stations. I know that it is visibility and branding for Stardock, but I think maybe if they worked in some actual content somehow the products would be a bit more attractive. This stuff doesn't seem targeted at the people who visit the site (i.e. people who are very interested in aesthetics and 'cool stuff')...

Get rid of that ridiculous "University" bit and I just might buy it.
As for the rest, why not have a contest on WinCustomize for designing the best shirt, etc. Have the top 3 designs made into shirts (of all the types they offer). To induce extra competition, give out prizes for the top 3 designs. The prizes could be a free 2yr subscription, a full copy of object desktop, and 1 item of every product they put your design on. Or something along that vein.
