Registration Key Information Not Provided In Auto-Email Responses
Impulse Client "Look up serial number" and esupport.stardock.com both fail to provide keys in the emails sent
Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Aesir Rising | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Past couple of days I've been doing some impulse shopping (har har) and installing stuff on a rebuilt laptop of mine, and I've needed to look up account names, serial numbers for past purchases (to qualify for upgrade/discount pricing, etc.). The automated email responses that (usually) send me a long email with everything I need are now missing the critical info... the serial numbers... for every product I've ever purchased through SDC and Impulse.
Example line item for one product for several email responses I've requested this past day or so:
Product Name : Sins of a Solar Empire (Download + Retail Box)
User Name :
Download : http://www.impulsedriven.com/about.asp (Install Impulse AND use serial above)
Example line item for that same product taken from an old email (November) from the same auto-response system:
Product Name : Sins of a Solar Empire (Download + Retail Box)
User Name :
Download : http://www.impulsedriven.com/about.asp (Install Impulse AND use serial above)
Serial number : xxxxx-xxxxx
Notice the Serial number field is missing from the recent (top) email response. This is the case for all couple of dozen things I should see serial numbers for. Repeated requests from the Impulse Client and the esupport link haven't netted any better results. Something is wrong, I think.
[Edited to add: I was able to piece together account info and serial numbers for what I needed from old emails and whatnot.]

travisjw....
What still does not work?
This appears to be your first comment in the thread so we won't be mind readers.... and also...if it is just because you are posting now under a different nick then that will likely BE the problem itself.

I have the same problem. i requested a new email with my registration codes for software which I purchased a while back and paid extra money. When I download the theme and start execution, it asks for the serial number, etc. It is not listed in the email as it was before. Going to impulse does not help, since the software is NOT listed, therefore I can not load it. It would be nice if the origional email with codes was sent, since the one I had on hotmail was deleted by microsoft.

Ugh. This is annoying. Trying to retrieve my Multiplicity serial, it's not showing in impulse at all but the email gives me a link to the pro version with no serial attached (it used to). I've done as suggest here and nothing.
I've emailed support 4 days ago with not a single response.

I just ordered Din's Curse today since it's on sale for $9.55. I was at my buddy's house and I was going to download it for him and install it so that we could play multi-player, but it wouldn't send the download link for the game or the serial number. I realize it's a Sunday and that people may not be working. I'm just hoping to get it resolved as soon as possible.
This is what my email says:

This is the issue I'm having.
I need a serial for a game from another publisher that I bought and downloaded via Impulse to be able to post on said publisher's forums. However, as noted above, the automated emails do not include said serials. I've looked through my previous emails for the purchase confirmation one, and I can't locate it-it's entirely possible it got flushed via junk.
The problem that I have is that I'm unable (rather, not allowed-they're library computers) to install Impulse on any computers I currently have access to, and therefore cannot access my serials. Nor can I get it off of my home computer, as my power supply has recently failed, and I've been unable to replace it yet.
I take it I should be emailing [email protected] with this issue?
Edit: Have done so.
