Looking through the WC Gallery Libraries

I would like to open up a discussion centered around what do you like and want to see in skins that get uploaded into the WC Gallery Libraries. Know not so much as what rules of skinning must the skinner follow to get uploaded but more of what you look for in a skin. 
I have only been here a short time, just over five years and alot of skinners have come and gone even in that short time. When going back through the libraries I see that alot of things were done in skinning that don't seem to be able to be accomplished today. This is not saying that the skinners of old were better then those of today. New OS versions made changes and WindowBlinds made changes also to keep currrent and some skinning techniques, if that is the proper way to say it, may have been lost. 
This will also be a great way to introduce some of the newer members of the community to what might be called 'Old School Skinning' and show them skins and skinners that they may not have checked out. So, no problem adding screenshots here. 
I have only two requests, keep the discusions on topic, and yes I know that at times that does become a hard task and please no flaming. Yes I know, takes all the fun out it.

Well I tried, you can't always succeed in every effort.
Was hoping to see more links to older skins to remind the community and show the new members what actually can be accomplished.

Then why not just come out and ask for that in the O.P.? Your lead sentence was:
You mentioned screen shots as an aside at the end of the OP...I thought you wanted the qualities that I/others look for in a skin....

a lot of the windowblinds skins created back then were a lot less work. Also, back then, the text color limitation wasn't such a big deal because you could do pretty much anything without a problem. Now Vista and Windows 7 have hard coded colors, IE and Firefox have too. It makes it very hard to use a very dark button now, just simply because in many case, the text will remain black. It is a tough decision then, you have to either chose between having a skin very functional and enjoyable to use, or, being super cool and original.
There are many more factors just like that, that makes skinning experience very hard to go eye candy now days.

I almost had it there, something to do with screen, but what?
Actually...this post seems pretty much the same as "What's your favorite skin"...except it seems you want screenshots instead of a list. You need to find a hobby...skinning maybe?
Yeah it is, but I was wanting/hoping people would show screenshots of what they liked. Links are also good.
