I was never a huge comic book reader even as a child(teen)...I did have a couple of favorites that my meager kid budget would allow me to get each month.
My 2 essentials were Conan and Swampthing...mostly because of the artist involved in the early issues of each series.Bernie Wrightson and Barry Smith.They were just a little better than all the others and that was where I first learned to draw.
Superheroes are bloody hard to write for...SO many possibilities...thats why most are horrible.
Granted the images below have been taken out of context(sorta)...it still makes one go wtf?!

I guess this might be a good time for me to put together the screen shot and upload that Riddler (excuse me, E.Nygma) Windowblind I made my kid, that he thinks is so wonderful.
