I just downloaded and instaled Rainlendar, and downloaded a few of the skins for it here. Now the Question / Problem ... What 2 Do with the files in the .zip's ? I looked under the Rainlendar dir and found a sub called skins, but the two sikns it comes with are just one file with an ext of .r2skin If you can help, please reply, a couple of the skins I got from wincustomize are MyDirtyValentine and PlasticFantastic
My hat is off to all of you skinners, some of these desktop's are out of this world Fantasitc !!!

Thank you, that worked althought I guess I'll have to watch for new skins as Rainlender says the skin you are attempting to use is for an old version and some items may not work.
Again many Thanks as what you said to do, did infact work.

There are a few older skins that dont look right in the newer version, but most work well...even if you get that message, try them out anyway. ![]()

My Mardi Gras Rainlendar skin is a .r2skin (Rainlendar 2 skin) -- and it includes a clock. I'll be making more of them in the future, so be watching for them. (hint - my St. Patrick's Day Rainlendar will be a Rainlendar 2 skin).

The new, free version of Rainlendar doesn't have all the features of of the old version. You would have to buy it. You can still get the old version here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_rainlendar/ . Get Version 0.22.1 which is on the right upper left of the page. All the older skins work properly with it.

just unzip, then put the folder in your skins folder. Once that is done, right click on the rainy on your desktop, and choose Refresh. Right click again and choose Options. The skins will now be in your skins list so you can apply them.
