Microsoft, Palladium and you

Wednesday, July 10, 2002 by Sander | Discussion: WinCustomize News

In his column last week, Robert X Cringely talked about Microsoft's Palladium initiative which was outlined in Newsweek a week earlier. Do we really need a whole new security architecture to extending down to the hardware level to combat viruses like NIMDA? Or is Microsoft manipulating public fear to further extend their hold on the PC and Internet?
Take a gander at what Bob has to say.

Microsoft needs to be completely replaced by a company that cares about it's customers rather than it's already bloated bank balance.
