Leaving Soon

Hello Everyone. On Feb. 16 for the US Army. I'm leaving to serve in Basic Trainning. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this community while I had the time to. You guy are the greatest and I am really going to miss everything.

Be all you can be, the military can be a good job. I speak from 23 years of Service 1963 to 1986 USMC and USAF

Gosh you make it sound as if this will be your last post in the forum. I know you may be gone for awhile but come on back when you have the time and let us know how it went. BTW You keep the karma and I’ll give you two for doing the job you’ll be doing. Thanks!

I served 30 years in the Air Force and still consider it the best thing I ever did, that is besides coming here and joining the community.
Do you have any idea what speciality or MOS you will get?
My MOS is 25 Sierra. I'll specialize in Sattalite Communiations.
To everyone here thank you all so much....I feel honored to serve for people as great as you guys.

I commend your decision,the military is a great way to get an education both while serving and after discharge from active duty.
Btw,I was in a signal unit in Germany as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Back then microwave and radio was the thing,not satellites.
Stay sharp and stay safe.
My basic training was at Fort Lost-in-the-Woods,MO.
