First blind WIP

Making progress but a lot of work yet to do. This is my first blind so comments are welcome!

No, u cant change places bar text.
Couple of things I'm wondering about, 1. Why\how is the infopane below the commandbar (if it is via AVebuilder, you were correct in assuming that virtually no one will be hacking their .dll's to accomplish that so make sure to design the infopane for bottom of window use) and why the large void either side of the programs menu text entries... lastly, how does firefox\ IE look
The theme is good for your first skin, I don't personally care for the menus \ menu mousovers, the light grey to black of the mouseover is way too drastic imo. and the large strips on the left side of menus will lead to issues in some menu's \ apps.
I also agree with IR, the alienhead is rather an old idea and teh rest of the theme doesn't really scream Alien. A second sub. with a more standard button might serve you well.
Could be super nice for a first skin, keep at it 
Hope you don't mind some simple critique from a fellow skinner.

I like it! And the alien head, but I could see it being a second style. It is an awesome button. I like it as the recycle bin, the eyes change color for empty/full states.

Dunno where you get off calling this a "first", Heigar.... looks to me like you've been doing it for a while. 
Yup, I'm with the others on this one.... very promising indeed and I can't wait (well I can, but why would I want to)

Sorry everyone that this is taking so long, but between remodeling my bathroom, family, work and studying for 3 exams to get my Microsoft Certified Systems Administration certification(MCSA). I haven't had any time to work on the blind. I am going to try to squeeze some time in the next couple of weeks to get some more done on it before I start on finishing my kitchen remodel (which is only new cabinets and countertops, I have already put in new tile floor, plumbing, and all the electrical).

Mirsguy - coming along , but the way win 7 skins I am finding out that something looks good somewhere and can look pretty crappy somewhere else ( very annoying). It is being worked on slowly, very sloooowly.(if only 7 skinned like XP)!
