How to save a Modified WB 7 Skin as your Own skin Name without original skin (sub skin) name?

Hi there,
I have modified an existing skin but now i would like to save it as my personal skin with personal chosen name. In SkinStudio i can "Save as" but then i still see the original name in it. Especially in the Sub Skins (Styles). That is what i would like to edit as well.

Thanks for your reply. I have done that. But now i only have an empty skin in the WB config tool. So i'm missing all the skin files of the one i have modified. How can i complete my new skin?

Oh-oh. Here's something you might want to get into the habit of doing when you create skins. After every modification, make a new .wba file; that way, if you ever lose what you're doing or mess up when adding new things, you have your old .wba to reapply and get your old stuff back.
Here's the steps I would go through to modify an existing skin.
1. Open skin studio.
2. Choose "open skin" and find the skin you want to modify.
3. Choose "copy"
4. Give your copy a name and wait for SkinStudio to create the newly named skin.
5. Choose the newly named skin from the list and click "edit skin".
6. Now, before you make changes to the skin, go to the files, skin properties, and change the name, put in your name as the creator, etc.
7. Make the alterations to the skin, save changes, and create a .wba file, then close the skin.
8. When you open Windowblinds, go to "skin options" and choose "rebuild list" and your newly named skin should be there.

Thanks very much for your support. One (hopefully) last question. Where do i leave the new .wba file? Is this a file where WB will refers to? So, probarbly within the new skin folder?

When a .wba file gets created, it goes to the WBA folder in SkinStudio7 folder that is in the Windowblinds folder. On my computer (running windows 7) the directory is: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\SkinStudio7\WBA.

Ok. I've done all the steps. Finally, i still see the original name of the Styles! This is what i also would like to change into the new Skin Name.
Please tell me how

I'm sorry, Dynomar, I don't know. If you open the original name of the styles, does the skin have your changes in it?

Changing the name of the substyles is easy.
One you save the skin as your new name, open it in skinstudio, then, click on 'file' then choose 'substyle management'. When the small screen pops up, you will see a 'rename' button near the bottom. Select the style you want to change, click the rename button and type in the name you want. You can change the names of all the styles this way.

When you open SkinStudio for your skin, go to files-->skin properties--> then just fill in the parts you want to change and click save.
