MacOS X vs. Linux who wins?

I had assumed that this was just McNeil trolling again in the typical fashion of his mindless Apple brown-nosing, so I was actually quite surprised when it gave an honest and accurate summary of the situation. OSX may be pretty to look at and easy to use, but:

i) It's not free
ii) It requires new hardware to run
iii) I can never hope to compete in the server market, it's strictly a desktop OS

For once an article on that site that doesn't make me want to enact my "Jay and Silent Bob" style fantasy of stopping over at the author's house and teaching them a lesson in what some may construe to be a childish way, but let's face it, so many people deserve it

All the publishing mags I read are always highly biased in favour of Apple, but they don't seem to be too happy with all new *nix influences in OSX.
