I think I'll pass...WebPhace is kind of expensive, I just renewed my OD subscription a few days ago so the idea of spending another $25 for a skinnable browser with what looks like some equivalent to Netscape 6 sidebar functionality does not appeal to me. There is apparently a free ad-supported version but I am finding my tolerance for adware has been going down lately. (If I did want one of these things, I think I'd stick with Neoplanet.)

Also my tolerance for being reminded of the war everywhere I look is getting to be less and less all the time. I guess this Combat Mission browser enhancement would be fine for folks who want to see what's going on in the world of legalized extermination for fun and profit, and hey, they're entitled to it, I suppose. Just as I'm entitled to say noooo thanks.

Interesting statement you made there......Maybe if you had family, friends or loved ones overseas for 6 months or more protecting your way of life (or after that statement maybe not yours) you would look at it differently.

The browser is free. It is to promote a television show which, while it features personnel from the Armed Forces, focuses on athletic competition. It is intended, I beleive, to provide a form of escape from stress.
AboutPhace also offers browsers with NFL and other sports logos.
Peace.

I think I'll pass on this one. I don't need to help them promote their show. They want to capitalise on what is happining in the Middle East to increase their own bank accounts..Not to help anyone else. No thanks IE6 works just fine for me and its free.
